    Very weird.

It was first released as part of Version 1.2.9.9.9 on the May 21 update with the same version number.

      Emergency!

I just flashed my buddy's truck to test the 04B04 map switch, and i pulled out maybe 20 ft and it stalled out on me. I cannot turn it over again, and cannot reflash it.
      Can I get some support?

So is it safe to say tuners should not be using this patch until updates are released? Or are there certain maps that are usable?

there was a file that had a bug that was released on the first version of 1.2.9.9.9, but it seems that the installer is not over-writing this file for some reason, or it did not in his case.

I'm trying to find out why.

Edit* and for anyone who thinks the bug exists in our custom code, nope. Our code is elegant.

The issue is toyota uses 0 compiler optimization and the stock toyota code has SP values going nuts during interrupts. So we had to modify our code around that and reduce optimization.

Got it, just more specifically, should tuners be playing with these highlighted maps if we dropped credits to get access, or are there maps in here we should avoid modifying for the time being? Any insight as to which ones are good and which ones we should hold off on would be appreciated.

Following this as same file here and really bad running after idle in initial testing. I was able to flash back and not stalling but she was not running well at all!

When I open the EROM Patch file for 04B04 in VFTuner, no maps are showing up. I was able to make updates to this tune several weeks ago. Did something change?
This is for the tune located here:
                  C:\Program Files (x86)\vF Tuner\Tacoma\EROM Patch Files V2

Anyone else make any progress with the tuning the 8 way map switching?

it has been temporary disabled so that it can be updated

I don't mean to sound like an ass, I'm just blunt and I'm also ignorant to the file itself because I have not touched it.

With that out of the way, how would VFTuner temporarily disabling the EROM file that you potentially messed up when editing put the liability on him? Any time I have some new edit I'm testing and I'm not sure how the truck will react, I bring my laptop with me *just in case*.

VF Tuner is not liable for any edits, calibration modifications, etc a user creates or flashes to their truck.

The definition package for the file was removed quite a while ago. It was done due to people flashing *as is* when file modification was *required.* It caused confusion. It will return when it can be flashed *as is.* without messing up the fueling causing a fuse to pop.
