Updated to 04B81 this afternoon without any issues, thanks again tonered and shellshock. TSB flash was no drama at all, I started the engine to confirm, then immediately flashed a vF map, then reset AT and LV. Quick trip to the office didn't indicate any problems, truck ran great and the tune was pretty "frisky". Still a fresh tune though, need to run a tank through it to really see if I like it or not.

Next step - time for me to dive into the software and get my learn on with respect to what can be done. Many years back, I tuned my WRX with Cobb's StreetTuner, and I managed not to blow it up in the process. To put it lightly, vF Tuner is a "touch" more complicated...

vF is pretty fun to edit with. Small stuff can make a big difference. I will try to get some threads going here.

2016 Taco Sport: How many times can you flash your ECU? I followed the process and it seems as if my truck is shifting really early. I am hitting 4th gear before I even reach 25-30 MPH. Should I flash the ECU again and reset the LV? By the time I hit 4th gear it really lags and loses speed. When I hit 5th gear it down shifts back to 4th gear if I touch the gas lightly. It's searching back and forth between 4th and 5th a lot now. Help please.....LOL Around 1500 RPM it is already shifting into 2nd and then 3rd is only a few RPMs later.

I re-flash my 2017 almost every two weeks to keep trying new little tweaks. Currently trying to nail the TC settings, trying out different parameters that people have tried for different applications (what they're tried for towing, or performance, etc...) to see how it affects the power and MPGs before really going out and trying to customize them for myself. In theory you can flash as many times as you want, never heard of someone 'flashing too much' and causing an issue.

But also, wtf is SuperFob 2.0? I have not heard of that

receive a message from TS not network connection.Is like TS can't find the t-0034-18.cuw file.I am from Puerto Rico and don't know is the flash can be done.
Please any help.
Do I have to do the flash upgrade to use VF?

If you have the cuw file it’s and executable file. Don’t even open tech stream just double click the cuw file that pertains to your truck ecu and follow the onscreen prompts one by one. They’re extremely simple and detailed and you have plenty of response time to do each step. Just be sure to follow the instructions they’re short and simple and to the point.
