      With respect to the tune, I have no idea there. Typically at idle, the lower volts and current is just a function of max alternator output. This is why you will see lower volts at idle and a bump in charge voltage when you're at about 1,000rpm or so.

      Just like starting, there are going to be times when the battery is discharging. That is perfectly okay.
