Shellshock’s AGM Settings
ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE AN AGM BATTERY AND VERIFY SUPPORTED INPUT VOLTAGES
This is what I’ve been running for quite some time and have not had any issues. That being said, like anything else, modify at your own risk and dont blame me if your truck starts on fire lol
There are two parts to AGM tuning, duty cycle and voltage output. You'll need to raise both the duty cycle and voltage to have consistent output to your AGM battery. What I have done is increase the duty cycle by 20% in all phases except phase 1. Then the voltage is modified through the values under ECT.
Per VFTuner on tacomaworld
ECT is engine coolant temp
Values will always be in Celsius.
Yes we will get neg values fixed.
Furthers value is -40.
When i first did my tune, I set all the values from 30 and up to 94 which consistently outputs 14.4-5v with my duty cycle settings all the time. If you want more voltage, go higher, if you want less, go smaller. You can also have the voltage decrease as temperature rises. Put a higher number at 0, decreasing as you go right.
In general
96 -> 14.7
95 -> 14.6
94 -> 14.5
Settings
This will will output 14.4-5v (I've tested and verified these settings on 04b14, 04b04, 04b31).
*note: phase duty 6/7 have been renamed in the new versions of vF tuner. I can update screenshots later.. or just compare the values.
On 2018+ trucks, phase duty 1 reads 14.7 instead of 76.79. This value is left unmodified on my tunes so its not an issue. These settings should work consistently across all the different ECUs.
