I was looking for a tuner that is compatible with my 2017 model year toyota camry, and came across the fact that it shares the same 2ARFE engine as the scion tc2. Does this mean that the tuner will work on my car as well? The purchase page does not have my specific car under its compatible cars list, but I assume since the scion is listed it would still apply.

Right, is not only the engine, also you need to be sure that the calibration work for you. There are 10 diferent calibration Scion tC 2011-16 and all of them use the same engine.
